Laura Bertone, Chief Financial Officer, joins PAX after 18 years in the banking industry. During her tenure as an auditor with Bank of America, she managed the Global Capital Markets/Investment Banking Group, Retail Audit Group, and Development and Training Teams.
Peter Fiske, Vice President of Research and Development, has expertise in advanced materials, fluid mechanics, and heat transfer. He founded and served as CEO of RAPT Industries, led a research team at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, and served as a White House Fellow.

Janine Benyus is an innovation consultant and author of Biomimicry: Innovation Inspired by Nature. She consults to clients such as GE, Hewlett-Packard, Levi's, NASA, Nike, and Procter and Gamble on the practical application of biomimicry. She co-wrote and appeared in a biomimicry episode of "The Nature of Things with David Suzuki" and is currently developing a database of biological information organized by design function.
Paul Hawken is a businessman and author. He has founded several companies, including Smith and Hawken, Datafusion, and Groxis. His books, including Natural Capitalism: Creating the Next Industrial Revolution (with Amory and Hunter Lovins), and Growing a Business, have been published in over 50 countries in 27 languages. Growing a Business was the basis of a PBS series, which Mr. Hawken produced and hosted.
H. Robert Heller, a former Governor of the Federal Reserve Board and President of VISA U.S.A., was also Chief International Economist at the Bank of America. A frequent commentator on current financial and economic events, he has appeared on numerous television programs on a variety of stations, including CNN, CNN-FN, CNBC, and Bloomberg TV. Mr. Heller has taught at UCLA, the University of Hawaii, and the Graduate School of Business Administration of UC Berkeley.
Dr. Ron Knott is one of the foremost experts on the Golden Section and Fibonacci numbers. For 19 years, he was lecturer in the Departments of Mathematics and Computing Science at the University of Surrey, England, and was a Visiting Fellow of the Universities of Surrey and Exeter. Dr. Knott's company provides Internet resources in the area of mathematics.
Vernon Loucks, Jr. is chairman of The Aethena Group, LLC, a healthcare merchant banking firm, and retired CEO and chairman of Baxter International, Inc. He also served as a CEO of Segway, LLC, and is a director of Affymetrix, Inc. Mr. Loucks was special advisor to the U.S. National Institutes of Health, and has served on the New York Stock Exchange Listed Company Advisory Committee.

Amory and Hunter Lovins founded the Rocky Mountain Institute, an independent nonprofit applied research center.
Sam Venneri served as Chief Technologist for the National Aeronautics and Space Administration from 1996 to 2002. He has more than 30 years of experience in aerospace programs for NASA and for the Department of Defense, providing leadership in a variety of international aerospace activities. He is currently an industry consultant, offering his expertise on projects ranging from optics lasercom technology to brain-based modeling.
